To promote Spanish language and culture, the Consulate General of Spain in Hong Kong provides funding support for the “Consulate General of Spain Prize for the Promotion of Spanish Culture” in 2025.

Applicants from the Spanish Programme of CUHK will be shortlisted for interviews to be conducted by the Consulate General of Spain in Hong Kong, and Mr. Mario Monterrubio, (Spanish Programme Coordinator of CUHK). Two awards will be given to selected candidates in recognition of their dedication and achievements in their studies of Spanish.

The award-receiving students will each be granted HKD$5000 to be used for various activities and items related to the learning of Spanish language and culture.
