Dr. Celia Carracedo Manzanera studied German and Spanish Philology at the University of Valladoid, Spain. She received her Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Universidad de Pablo Olavide (UPO), Spain. She taught Spanish at various academic institutions in Spain, France and Germany. Her research interests include film, application of new technologies to teaching of languages and design of teaching materials. She is in charge of several websites dedicated to Spanish language teaching and learning and pedagogical use of cinema in the classroom.
