Introduction
Mr. Mario Monterrubio Gañán holds a B.A. degree in Translation and Interpretation from the university Pablo de Olavide in Sevilla and earned his M.A. degree in Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) from the same university. Before joining CUHK, he taught Spanish at the Università degli studi di Torino (Italy), Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Spain), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and at various language learning centers. He is also a DELE examiner at all levels, and his current research focuses on teaching Hispanic culture in the context of language learning.
