Dr. Antonio Ramón García Susperregui obtained his B.A. degree in Biology from the University of Sevilla (Spain) and completed his Ph.D. in Biomedicine at the University of Barcelona (Spain). He also received an M.A. degree in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). After completing his M.A. degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from Nebrija University (Madrid, Spain), he worked as a Spanish teacher in Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE) and other private organizations in Hong Kong. He served as the Head Academic Director in a private teaching institution for Spanish and French in Hong Kong upon the completion of the relevant training conducted by International House World Organization. His research interests include: i) development of teaching materials and programmes for Spanish as a foreign language (SFL), ii) design and evaluation of objective assessment items, and iii) analysis of the interlanguage and the conversational skills of SFL students.
