Dr. Teng holds the position of assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining this academic institution, he was associated with the Max Planck Institutes located in Frankfurt am Main and Berlin, Germany, and earned his PhD in the field of Cognition and Perception from New York University. The central aim of his research lab is to investigate the complex temporal processing mechanisms of the brain, particularly in relation to natural stimuli such as speech and music.
