Bio

Johan F. Hoorn received a PhD degree in computer science from Vrije University Amsterdam, Netherlands as well as a PhD degree in general and comparative literature from Vrije University Amsterdam, Netherlands. At present, he is an interfaculty full professor of social robotics with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Department of Computing and School of Design, Hong Kong. His current research interests include theory of emotion, creativity, reality perception, and moral reasoning, implemented in artificial agents and social robots.
